Yes that’s right, making a Custom Logo Design is Not an Exact Science!
No, this is not for the sake of argument, it is rather quite the truth. Unlike some other forms of designing such as architecture, aeronautics, automotive etc. to name some, logo designing is not an exact science. It is a form of art and art has never been exact. It is a natural talent that enables custom logo designers to create distinguished pieces of work in the field of logo designing.
With the level of ingenuity involved in logo designing, it is impossible to devise specific paradigms for such an activity. Every logo designer has his / her own ideas through which they fabricate novel logo designs that we see each day.
But then, apart from sheer genius, there is another factor that makes logo designing stand out from other professions and custom logo designers should be well aware of what it takes for a logo to stand out from the crowd. It is the understanding of the concept behind logo designing that makes a logo different from the lot. If custom logo designers do not totally comprehend the nature of business a proposed logo would represent, the entire process of logo designing will prove to be a futile effort.
Custom logo designers are advised not to initiate work before they are in complete unison with their clients’ requirements. Along with that, it is imperative for custom logo designers to know what their client’s business stands for. They should be cognisant of the nature of products or services their client company entails. In addition, the awareness about the target market of their client company is of equally vital importance in customised logo designing.
This does not mean that all those with the requisite awareness and information can go ahead and become custom logo designers. As mentioned earlier, logo designing is an art form which does not follow accurate formulas other than the ones related to the understanding of a concept. It is the concept upon which a logo design is formulated. The rest is subject to sheer imagination and innate abilities of the artist.
Based on the facts and grounds stated above, it is hence proved that logo designing is not an exact science.
